Oakleaf are proud to be partnered with a leading biological testing and analysis laboratory group on their search for a Junior HR Advisor to join their team in West London.

In this role you will manage HR operations including providing guidance on HR best practice, ensuring staff adhere to employment policies and procedures and managing the company payroll and staff rotation timetables.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice on HR best practice
  • HR operations
  • Handling employee relations cases
  • Provide advice on the application of the Company's Employment Policies and Procedures
  • Guide manager's on best practice as advised by UK employment Legislation, ACAS and the CIPD
  • Provide advise to staff on contractual matters and employment rights
  • Managing the recruitment lifecycle including the creation of job descriptions, CV screening and onboarding
  • Oversight and management of the company payroll
  • Oversee the staff rotation timetable
  • Publishing the staff rotation timetables in a timely manner

  • What you'll need:

  • Experience in a HR position - ideally 3-5 years in a HR Officer type position
  • Previous payroll administration experience is essential
  • A proactive and energetic attitude towards work and a strong work ethic
  • A good knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Good communication skills
