Job Details
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for non-transactional people-related issues and work in partnership with people managers and department heads in the development and execution of the People Plan whilst offering day to day support, guidance and advice to line managers.

Description
Key responsibilities:
Ensure that responses to employment and workforce matters are handled consistently, fairly and promptly.
With a focus on employee experience, excellent people management practices and challenging / coaching line managers in their people management practices this role works to support the strategic aims to be an inclusive place to work
Ensure that people practices are consistent with values and People policies at all times to ensure a consistent approach to the employee experience
Offer support and guidance to promote recruitment good practice (including identification of job requirements and person specifications, flexible working considerations, fair selection in accordance with job criteria, employment law and policies and procedures) and that necessary approvals are adhered to, meeting agreed SLA
Support and provide advice to managers in respect of employee related issues giving due consideration to particular business needs and legislative provisions, in the context of HR risk management
Participate in the Anti-Racist task-force and lead / champion other diversity networks for under-represented groups once established - including Neuro Diversity, Parents and Carers, Disability, Gender and Transgender, Race and Ethnicity
Profile
Successful candidate:
- HR generalist, with experience working in an entreprenurial, fast paced environment
- Demonstrable ability to provide advice and operate with current and proposed employment legislation and industry developments, implementing best practice and a pragmatic approach
- Capable of proactively resolving HR issues with effective solutions, informally wherever possible
- Experience around D&I practices, particularly around inclusive recruitment strategies
