Page Personnel HR are working with one of the UK's largest insurance companies to recruit an HR Officer on an initial 12 month contract. The HR Officer will be responsible for ensuring all HR administrative processes and 'first line' HR enquiries are undertaken in a timely manner and to high standards. The role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.

Client Details

Our client are one of the largest insurance companies in the UK and globally. They are recruiting for an HR Officer to join a well-established HR team within one of the group's brands. The role will initially be for a period of 12 months. It's based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.


The key responsibilities for the HR Officer are acting as first point of contact for all general HR queries, delivering HR administration support to the HR team and wider business, responsibility for the employee lifecycle, assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities, salary changes, maternity and paternity, leavers and updating the HR database, assisting with process and policy queries, assisting with the collation of monthly payroll data, supporting HR Business Partners with ER casework and assisting with reporting. The role is initially for a 12 month period, is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.


The successful candidate will have/be:

  • previous administrative experience in an HR capacity
  • strong understanding of policy and process
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • computer literacy with MS Office and in-house systems
  • ability to prioritise workload in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
