Page Personnel HR are working with a legal firm in Manchester to recruit an HR Advisor for a period of 12 months. The role will provide UK wide HR advice and support to managers, partners, leaders and employees. The role offers hybrid working.

Client Details

Our client are a global law firm with offices across 40 countries. Their Manchester office is recruiting for an HR Advisor to support in the delivery of HR Advice to all employees. This is a 12 month FTC to facilitate transition. Hybrid working available.

Description

The key responsibilities for the HR Advisor are advising and coaching managers to manage all informal and formal ER cases including performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and redundancy, applying expertise to complex and demanding cases, identifying ER risks, actively contributing to transformation projects, process development discussions, proactively identify process improvements, delivering manager upskilling training, keeping up to date with changes in legislation. This 12 month FTC is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.

Profile

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • previous experience in a similar HR Advisory role
  • proven experience of managing and making decisions on all ER case types
  • a self-starter who is proactive and driven
  • confident in their ability to influence stakeholders
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to manage multiple cases at one time
  • strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • experience working in a fast-paced environment and delivering tight deadlines
  • CIPD qualification desirable
