Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with our Charity Client as they expand their team and recruit for a HR Assistant for a 12 month fixed term contract. Working as part of a team of 2 in HR, and supporting a head count of 350, the HR Assistant will be working from home, and spending approx 1 day a week or as required at their Chesterfield site.
Reporting into the HR Advisor, you will be joining a busy organisation who offer a fantastic inclusive, supportive and friendly culture.
This candidate will focus on managing the on boarding process as the  business recruits new hires. This will include managing employee data on the systems, system & data updates, offers of employment/contracts, starters and leavers process, and all compliances and pre employment checks. The HR Assistant will liaise with managers, offering advice on HR related matters, they will support the HR function in some key projects they have coming up. This is an exciting opportunity to widen your exposure to HR projects and grow your experience ready for your next step in HR!
In addition to this you will manage all incoming HR enquiries and HR correspondences, and the reporting on HR data.  This is a real generalist, hands on and fast paced role!
We are looking for:
·Previous experience working in a HR role is essential!
·A real passion for HR and developing a long term career
·Ideally CIPD qualified to level 3 as a minimum.
·Good experience using HR Systems and producing reports on Excel.
·Strong verbal & written communications
·A confident communicator who has an organised approach is a must
