I have partnered with a global Wealth Management organisation in their search for a Senior HR Business Partner to join their department. This is a newly created position due to the organisation acquiring a new firm, with this person acting as right-hand person to the Head of HR. The successful candidate will line manage 2 HR professionals, with the key responsibilities being managing the day-to-day HR processes, but also playing a key part in HR projects.

Responsibilities:

  • To make recommendations for strategic change to the Head of Human Resources. Lead strategic projects and enhance HR initiatives across the London Office
  • Work to strengthen the engagement between employees
  • To build effective relationships with managers, providing advice, support and guidance and to ensure HR best practice is applied within the workplace
  • To support key London stakeholder groups internally, providing the management teams with strategic and operational advice & support as appropriate
  • Management of the London HR Manager and HR Officer, setting goals, managing deliverables to set deadlines. Coaching the team where appropriate.
  • To work alongside the HR Manager to ensure consistency in approach
  • Supporting culture, engagement and DEI objectives
  • To manage the employee journey to ensure the team are progressing against it accordingly.
  • Support the London Business with recruitment needs and provide recruitment MI to head of HR
  • Provide support to the team in dealing with complex ER cases
  • Assist with TUPE and business acquisitions leading projects where required
  • To ensure all monitoring/audit items relating to HR are met in a timely manner

Skills:

  • Numerate, strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Degree educated desirable
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification desirable
  • Financial Services exposure essential
  • Has been assessed as Fit & Proper to execute their role under the Conduct Rules.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Good understanding of HR policies & procedures
  • Good understanding of the Senior Manager & Certification Regime and Training & Competence requirements in financial services
  • Management Experience, able to manage and motivate employee to success
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Very effective communicator
  • Collaborative team worker
