HR Manager
Salary circa £50,000
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hybrid working from home and our office at 33 Queen Street, with flexibility to attend other work locations from time to time.
We are looking to recruit a standalone HR Manager to deliver the full employee lifecycle to approximately sixty-five staff and managers but with support by an experienced Operations Co-Ordinator.
You would join London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) at a time of cultural change, as we align closely with our redefined purpose and looking to transition to an agile and flexible learning organisation.
LCCI is the capital's largest independent business network, and we help to create and maintain London's position as the world's most dynamic, connected, equitable and sustainable city in which to work, live, and visit. We promote and support London not just as a large full-spectrum economy and as capital of the UK, but as a global city responsible for the defense of free and fair trade and the promotion of peace.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- providing a full HR Advisory service.
- managing the end-to-end recruitment and induction process.
- managing all employee relations cases.
- working with the Senior Leadership team to manage Talent and Performance Improvement initiatives.
- coordinating the learning and development programme.
- managing and improving staff benefits.
- working with Finance to process payroll.
- managing HR supplier contracts.
- leading the salary review process; and
- managing the HRIS system and people data requirements.
Your first ninety days see you quickly immersed in rolling out and embedding a new performance management system, realigning the annual salary review process, and embedding a flexible working approach, that will see our offices being used as destinations to meet, rather than traditional desk-based places of work.
To be successful in this role, you should bring a good range of generalist HR experience, be flexible in your outlook to solution building, value pace of delivery, want to work collaboratively, be comfortable with change, and be able to convert aspirational thinking into action.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to experience the full people management lifecycle and to be responsible for the function to improve future career opportunities. We have a flat structure, and you would report to the CEO, so internal promotion opportunities in the HR function would be difficult.
The deadline for applications is midnight 15 February 2022 but we reserve the right to interview and appoint earlier, so please look to apply early.

Thank you for your interest in our role and we hope that you will apply to work with us.
