Macmillan Davies are currently supporting a leading blue collar organisation in appointing an experienced HR Business Partner to be based out of their North West site with weekly travel on a national basis.
The HRBP will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team for their specified business unit, aided by a HR Advisor to work collaboratively on continuous improvement, culture development, people agenda, TUPE In and out and aligning objects and values to the Group.
Further responsibilities will include:
*People and management development
* Driving a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices
* Acting as a change champion
*Union liaison and negotiation
*Succession planning and talent attraction/retention
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working as a HRBP within a blue collar environment and have experience working across multiple sites with flexibility to travel on a weekly basis nationwide. Strong employee relations, TUPE, Change and Employment Law knowledge is essential, as is the ability to empower line managers to take ownership of HR issues, act as the performance improvement driver and encourage positive change. Knowledge and experience working in a unionised environment is ideal.
You must be able to work in an autonomous role and be highly motivated and self-managing with the ability to build strong and fast relationships with key stakeholders is essential.
