The Opportunity

Hays are hiring a Recruitment Consultant to specialise in Human Resources, a core specialism within our team in London. This is a 360 degree desk, recruiting for permanent positions in Human Resources in London City. This role is joining a truly inclusive team whose existing members actively participate in both internal and external equity networks across the UK. Irrespective of your social or academic experiences to date, we are simply focused on appointing a driven, ambitious and innovative individual who wants to carve out, or progress, a career in recruitment.

What should I expect day to day?

Running a 360 desk recruiting for Human Resources professionals. You will be passionate about people and understand they are the very heart of our business.

• As such you will strive to support and develop them throughout their working week but also their career.
• Deliver an effective, innovative and diverse candidate attraction strategy utilising a number of the key tools available at Hays such as LinkedIn Integration, largest UK candidate database with over 4million candidates, advanced Odro video platform technology and referral schemes to name but a few.
• Help to build a fun, collaborative team that strives to deliver best in class service for all its customers and promotes rapid career development and opportunities in a meritocratic environment.

What will I need to succeed?

The combination of your natural aptitude or desire to develop people and the Hays management infrastructure will help you to propel your team to significant success.

• A passion for excellent customer relations as you'll become a true partner.
• Commercial, innovative and ambitious in your thinking, you will be keen to identify market opportunities. Knowledge of the HR job market would be ideal.
• Not essential but it would be preferable if you've had exposure of recruitment in the past.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to skills.
