You will join a modern and inclusive HR team, the HR Advisor role will act as the first contact for all HR advisory queries including application of policies and procedures including recruitment and selection. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner (Head of Programmes & Policy) you will support and complement their work to ensure comprehensive advice is provided to Schools/Services, at each stage of the University HR employee relations procedures and processes. In doing so, you will work closely with stakeholder to analyse and resolve casework issues, offering sound professional and consistent advice. 

As member of the HR team, you will be pivotal in supporting an agenda of organisational change within HR and across the University, as it strives to develop a culture of continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for contributing towards policy development and projects, in conjunction with your HR Business Partner. 

You will be a committed HR professional who is either working towards or has graduate CIPD membership. You will have extensive experience of working in a busy HR environment, together with sound recent administrative experience of managing employee resources through a HR/Payroll system. You should be able to demonstrate wide experience of working closely with managers to resolve employee relation matters in a proactive and result focussed manner, whilst adhering to HR practices and policies. In doing this, you should also be able to work with diverse groups of staff, across a number of disciplines.
