Do you have experience of working within an FMCG or manufacturing environment?
 
Our client is a global commercial business, with an SME and family feel, and we are recruiting a HR Manager for their production site in Warwickshire for an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
The HR Manager will work closely with the site Manager and really support them in developing and implementing the strategy, and HR project initiatives, with some great projects on the horizon! We need a candidate who is a self starter, adaptable, keen to get stuck in to all areas within this very operational function.
They have almost 500 people on site but part of a wider HR function with other sites in the UK.
 
This person, needs to  lead the day to day for HR, manage key stakeholder relationships, manage the day to day hands on elements on the department.  We seek a confident and experienced HR Generalist, who can build solid relationships quickly, someone who can challenge, motivate and coach management to build their capabilities. This is a unionised fast moving environment, and we are seeking someone who enjoys the pace and is ambitious to lead buy example and make a difference!
 
The role will involve ER case management, in particular a full range of disciplinary investigations, grievances, and absence/performance management. You'll be a key point of contact in working with  management in developing their knowledge and upskilling them, so strong stakeholder relationship building will be important in this role. A very generalist position, needing someone who is hands on and keen to get stuck in where they can! They will also lead and support in HR project work, you need to be very strategically minded to be considered.
 
The candidate will be experienced within a blue collar unionised environment, and have worked within a busy generalist remit. This is a fantastic  opportunity, an immediate start is required.

·You must have a proven background in blue collar environment's such as FMCG or Manufacturing
·Excellent UK Employment Law knowledge is essential and you will need to have worked with unions.
·you will need to be on site in Nottingham Monday to Friday
