Senior Reward Advisor - Compensation

Senior Reward Advisor, permanent position. Up to £45,000 dependent on experience. Hybrid working with offices based in Bath or Cheltenham, with up to 4 days per week WFH.

Senior Reward Advisor, permanent position. Up to £45,000 dependent on experience. Hybrid working with offices based in Bath or Cheltenham, with up to 4 days per week WFH.

Your new role

As a Senior Reward Advisor, your main role will be to support the reward programme within the business. The development of a new reward strategy is a key priority to support the business and so the role will take responsibility for researching, developing, and implementing elements of the reward strategy under the guidance of the Reward Manager. In this, you will need to work closely with business areas and have a strong analytical approach to utilise data to drive and support change. Having an outward focus and scanning the market for change and trends is an important aspect.
Tasks will come under 4 main areas:
* Compensation
* Promotions
* General
* Projects


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a good understanding of the HR role so that contractual and legislative requirements can be understood.
This opportunity will suit candidates with:
* Experience in involvement in different compensation approaches including bonus structures
* Management of pay processes, including annual salary review and bonus review
* Salary survey experience, including benchmarking and/or involvement with job evaluation
* General reward experience including advising on complex calculations and supporting pay changes processes
* Must have worked within an HR role so understand broader contractual/legislative requirements, ideally including TUPE
* Excellent numerical and excel experience, ideally advanced excel and possibly macros/vba
* Desirable - Line management/supervisory experience

This is a permanent position and can be based in any of the organisation's offices, but candidates should be happy to travel regularly to attend the Cheltenham and Bristol offices where the HR team are mainly located.
