This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager with manufacturing/engineering/logistics experience to partner with the Plant Manager in the delivery of strategic HR initiatives, delivering a high-performance engaged culture.

My client is a global organisation, with presence in 39 countries. They are a global market leader in industrial flow control equipment

Description

Although part of a wider UK HR team, this is a standalone HR management role responsible for the entire employee life-cycle of circa 160 employees and all the administration that is required. As a key part of the management team, you will work with the wider site management team to build a strong engaged employee culture.

  • Co-ordination of the monthly payroll including organisation of time-sheets, allowances and other payments ensuring payroll is accurate and successfully delivered each month.
  • Delivery of the site and UK people agenda, collaborating with the UK and global HR leadership team on the design and implementation of our people plans ensuring local needs are met whilst operating within a Group Framework.
  • Coach, influence and support managers and leaders on a range of people activities.
  • Provide robust employee relations advice and support across all areas relating to employment law and ensure adherence to our policies and practices
  • Support the recruitment and selection of employees across all disciplines to ensure a fair and structured approach to ensure we attract and recruit a high calibre of candidate
  • Own and drive talent strategy on your site, coaching managers to ensure talent is highlighted and recognised in the business alongside building capabilities and succession plans.
  • Support the global Performance Management cycle across Manchester to build a high-performance culture
  • Support local CSR and ESG initiatives to ensure local activities are aligned to Group strategy
  • Support the pay review process and ensure adherence to the Reward Strategy whilst coaching managers around process and procedure

Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience from within a fast-paced Manufacturing/Engineering or similar environment. The ability to influence at senior stakeholder level, as well as the ability demonstrate resilience during times of changing priorities, is essential

Further requirements;

  • HR Qualified with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of supporting organisational change and design
  • Solid and proven experience in the management of employee relations, performance management and recruitment

Job Offer

A salary of £45,000 - 50,000 plus benefits
