Temp HR & Payroll Assistant - Start ASAP - Camarthen
Your new company
You'll be working with a well-known local further education college. Based in Carmarthen you'll be working on campus directly within the central HR team.
Your new role
Working within the HR team you'll be responsible for the onboarding of new employees and ensuring that they are correctly set up for payroll including NI numbers and tax codes. Additionally you'll hold coordination responsibility for the HR system, updating employee records and contract changes and running weekly reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to have some level of HR experience preferably in a more technical capacity. No specific HR system experience is required but you'll need to demonstrate familiarity with systems, reporting and payroll functions. You'll also hold CIPD qualification or be working towards. As this is an under 18s college you'll also be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. If you already hold this, please make it known on your application
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 6 week but could be much more long term. You'll receive an hourly rate of 13.92 per hour plus holiday (£15.60).
