Recruitment Coordinator / Recruitment Officer

Were seeking either a Recruitment/HR Coordinator or recruitment officer who to join a not for profit company.


Were seeking an HR / Recruitment Coordinator / Recruitment Officer to join a friendly not for profit organisation operating across the South Coast. You will be working as part of a resourcing team supporting 2 business units with a full recruitment end to end recruitment process.

As a Recruitment officer you will build effective relationships with managers / sites to review recruitment requirements over see full end to end recruitment.

• Preparing advertisements and social media postings
• Pre vetting and screening calls
• Application forms
• Preparing shortlist/working with line managers on interview arrangements
• Coordinating interviews
• Offers / letters
• Vetting / compliance / DBS / references
• Setting up contracts / new starter process

Candidate

• We seeking HR or Recruitment experienced individuals
• Ideally you will have experience of full recruitment administration, coordination.
• Awareness of legislation and regulations related to recruitment processes and advertising would be preferable, as well as being an ambassador for equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Can demonstrate excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Confident with working on computers and general IT capability, including experience of using Microsoft Office packages like Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Comfortable to work with our HR database to record and monitor the progress of various recruitment-related matters, such as a candidates recruitment journey.
• Ideally will have experience of using social media, even if just on a personal level, so as to use this accordingly to promote recruitment opportunities.
• Excellent organisation skills to prioritise workload and meet required deadlines, as well as strong attention to detail, to ensure an efficient recruitment service is delivered to our customers (our managers)
• Self-motivated to keep their recruitment knowledge up to date to ensure that their practice remains legally compliant and current.
• A sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection requirements and what this means in terms of their practice and record keeping.
• Can work flexibly to meet the needs of our customers and to offer support to the wider team, and is able to work remotely/in a hybrid working fashion as needed although opportunities to work from Fareham base will be available.

This role is offered on an initial temporary contract through Hays until end of April at which point there is potential of future permanent appointments.
