Macmillan Davies are looking to attract a Global HRIS Manager in a newly created permanent role on behalf of this sizeable Manufacturing plc based in the north-west.

As the business prepare to roll out Workday globally as part of a wider people transformation they have designed this position specifically to play an integral role in the successful implementation of the HR roadmap.

Working closely with the HR leadership team you will be integral in placing Workday at the heart of the HR operating model. The role will shape and define the change agenda over the next few years and use insight to shape thinking about the future workforce

This role is responsible for all HR platforms within the company, the primary one being Workday. You will be required to lead the success and ongoing development of the global Workday platform to enable adoption in the business and simplification of working practices.

You will be asked to:

*Manage, coach and develop a team of HRIS analysts
*Work closely with HR leadership team on the future system functionality and manage demand for change
*Advise on future change opportunities
*Produce data and strategic insights with a clear narrative to shape decision making and business choices with the HR leadership team and other senior leaders
*Provide workforce predictions and insights to inform the strategic direction of the business
*Work closely with Workday and third parties to continually support and improve the platform
*Provide expertise and guidance in respect of additional project work
*Represent HRIS on projects where required

About you

In order to succeed in this newly created opportunity we require somebody special.

We're looking for somebody inquisitive who looks for a long term permanent solution as opposed to a quick fix. You will have been responsible for HRIS implementation (preferably Workday) and possess the toolkit and credibility to influence at exec level.

You will also bring with you:

*Experience of working with multiple HR systems and a solid background in HRIS technical support
*Workday (or similar) experience
*Team management experience
*Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into solutions
*HR system configuration including functional, integrations, reporting and security
*An understanding of HR transformation
