Senior HR Advisor

I am working with an organisation based in Bristol that are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor. This is a fast paced and challenging role working within an industry which is heavily regulated, where health, safety and the environment is at the forefront of everything they do. They are an evolving and dynamic business who strive to be the best, they have a collaborative and open culture where they welcome new and fresh ideas to ensure they are always delivering an exceptional HR service.

As the Senior HR Advisor you will be a true generalist and will support corporate functions that include, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Legal, IT and health & safety. Headcount is around 200 and the role is focused on delivering all HR operational advice and guidance. You will report into an HR manager and support on HR projects around Talent Management, Succession Planning, Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing. You will work closely with your stakeholders, developing excellent relationships as well as coaching and supporting them with all HR related tasks.

To be successful in this role you will be working as a Senior HR Advisor ideally within heavy industry or manufacturing. You will be able to demonstrate your expertise as a true HR generalist and will be driven and ambitious to develop within your HR career. Your experience of contributing to process improvement that has brought real benefits to individuals and the organisation will be of real interest to my client along with your understanding of current employment law and what the business needs to do to mitigate risk. Any experience of change management within a unionised environment will be a huge benefit. My client is looking for someone who is forward thinking and can challenge current thinking, alongside the ability to add vigour and new ideas. This role is located in Bristol and is accessible by car or public transport.
