Description

  • To support the HR Director with the development of strategic plans to deliver a progressive HR service to the site
  • Provide both tactical and strategic HR in Medway across multiple clients
  • To provide clear policies and frameworks to drive the delivery of HR through the line
  • Guiding and coaching Line Managers in the application of strong people practices
  • Creating and maintaining a culture that promotes diversity and equal opportunities through clear and open communication at all levels
  • Work with members senior figures in the business to ensure consistency & the continual development of capability and capacity within the management population through identification of learning & development needs, providing both practical and creative people solutions
  • Responsible for provision of a developing & exceptional HR service spanning all areas of HR, including; recruitment, employee relations, talent management, engagement, organisational change, HR policy and process

Profile

  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR approaches and employment legislation
  • Experience of developing and deploying HR approaches, policies and processes across a multisite remit
  • Successful leadership and/or management of projects
  • Proven track record of successful change and culture management
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, presentation, verbal and written communication, skills
  • Leads by example, sets the standard for personal integrity
  • Organised and efficient, sets the standard for internal customer, professionalism
  • Can see the big picture, whilst applying practical short-term solutions
  • Decisive and assertive- Provides direction, whilst gaining buy-in
