Supporting the Senior HR Manager for London, this role is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR activity and implementing HR projects and change initiatives aligned to our HR strategy.

Description

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and being a trusted advisor;
  • Managing annual HR processes including salary and bonus review and performance appraisals and ensuring the delivery of a high quality day-to-day operational service;
  • Guiding and coaching Directors and Partners in the management of under performers, absence and disciplinary matters;
  • HR Advisory, Policy and Employee Relations operational activity;
  • Informal, proactive conflict resolution;
  • Production and analysis of insightful people management information (including market trends and intel)
  • Maintaining visibility and impact across the business to drive the HR Advisory key priorities;
  • Challenging existing HR processes and ways of working to drive up value and ensure maximum efficiency across all day to day activities;
  • Supporting and influencing the HR strategy and HR initiatives across a number of client groups
  • Leading by example in role modelling behaviours that demonstrate our values;
  • Managing and developing junior members of the HR team (an HR Advisor and an HR Administrator).

Profile

You will be a pro-active and commercial HR generalist ideally within a global law firm. You will have strong employee relations experience and be comfortable partnering with the business and implementing projects and processes independently.

  • Fully CIPD qualified;
  • Experience of the full range of generalist HR disciplines and client facing business partnering;
  • Strong process, project and change management experience with proven ability to implement change initiatives successfully;
  • Experience of improving processes and driving value add HR service delivery;
  • Strong technical knowledge of method and models across HR;
  • Confident in core aspects of employment law and experienced in running complex ER matters
