My client are a global FinTech business headquartered in the City. Due to building out their ED&I offering, they are now looking for a manager to join them. This role will be working with D&I Directors, Senior Managers and other members of the D&I Team to implement the D&I strategy, take a lead role in building team infrastructure, designing and delivering streamlined processes and be a lead point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Build the infrastructure for the D&I team including, but not limited to, connect sites, operating processes, reporting structures.
  • Own and manage the D&I Group calendar, keeping it updated
  • Plan and project manage all key D&I Day activities across the Group, leading on scheduling and partnering with other members of the D&I Team for aligned messaging and engagement with key stakeholders
  • In partnership with the D&I Directors and Senior Managers, a point of contact for the Inclusion Network leaders, provide guidance, and assist with the annual work plan as appropriate, ensuring the voices of under-represented groups are heard and felt in the actions we deliver
  • Maintain regular D&I comms/messaging, draft comms and social media pieces and, working with the D&I Group Director, Directors, and Senior Managers, obtain approval for publication
  • In partnership with the D&I Team, a point of contact for key external partners to advance common agendas
  • Support with the production of the annual D&I Year in Review
  • Administer budget and provide regular reporting

Key experience/skills:

  • Proven track record of building enabling infrastructure and creating efficient systems and processes
  • Proven track record of working with key stakeholders across different functions, at different levels
  • Ability to deliver strategic projects to plan and with impact
  • Strong project management and project delivery skills
  • Some analytical skills with the ability to work with ambiguity
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Experience of working for a global team
  • Some experience of D&I in a global organisation
  • Ability to influence and negotiate day-to-day decisions
  • Proactive and solutions-focused
  • Ability to work at pace with a range of stakeholders across different regions and time zones
