Job Details
We have a current opportunity for a Training Manager on an 18m FTC basis. The Assurance / Audit Training Manager will position will be based in London. but work a flexible week, with 1 day in the office. As an experienced L&D professional, you will deploy, monitor and evaluate non-technical training programmes to a sizeable national population.
Key duties:
- Deploying key elements of the assurance training plan, including significant components of the technical and mandatory training curriculum up to Senior Manager level
- Ensure the learning meets the need of the business and is prepared accordingly by the Subject Matter Experts
- Assisting facilitators and learners with the deployment of technical training to all levels
- Monitoring compliance with mandatory training
- Overseeing the submission of CPD into the learning system
- Overseeing the Audit Academy training events
- Evaluating the success of individual training programmes
- Building strong relationships with the offshore staff and Managers who provide admin support to the team
- Looking after aspects of the training budget
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of training support staff, in conjunction with the Learning Leader and other training management
Requirements:
- L&D Manager experience gained in a regulated environment
- High level of understanding training / learning management systems (SuccessFactors experience a bonus)
- Excellent people management and coaching skills with the ability to encourage and motivate people
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel
