The HR Assistant will be responsible for a range of duties and will have the opportunity to get exposure to all areas of the HR function. You will develop your HR skills in a collaborative and social environment with the opportunity to work autonomously and put your stamp on the HR function. This role is reporting into the Head of Operations.
The client is a Financial Services firm with offices around the globe. The HR Assistant role will sit in the City of London office which is small but is set to grow. The team in London are collaborative, friendly and incredibly sociable.
This is initially a standalone HR role working closely alongside the Head of Operations who is currently undertaking the HR responsibilities but the team i set to grow and this role will head up the HR Team.
- On boarding and off boarding
-Supporting with recruitment
-Learning and Development
-Writing new policies and updating the employee handbook
-Annual processes such as salary reviews and appraisals
-Main point of contact for all HR queries
The successful candidate will be have some previous HR experience, ideally within Financial Services.
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified and demonstrate a clear desire an ambition for your HR career.
You will be happy to be working in a small team initially, with the long term view of the team expanding bringing about excellent progression opportunities.
