A global financial services organisation based in the City of London seeks an Interim HR - Regulation, Governance and Policy Reward Manager- Vice President to provide subject matter expertise and experience in EMEA Remuneration Regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations across the Group.

Description

An Interim HR - Regulation, Governance and Policy Reward Manager- Vice President:

  • To be responsible for ongoing compliance with remuneration regulations across EMEA.
  • To support the implementation activity of European Regulations across the organisation, including working with various entities within the group.
  • To support with drafting of Remuneration Committee / Supervisory Board / Management body papers.
  • To draft Group wide policies in respect of remuneration regulations and ensure ongoing compliance across the group.
  • To drive the Group implementation of regulatory projects in remuneration where a change to their service is required.
  • Role interfaces with the wider HR team, with wider scope to Control Functions, as well as stakeholders within the PD-Planning Group and business managers.
  • Remuneration Regulation: Interpretation and analysis of reward related regulation that impacts the Group Regionally - including Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), European Banking Authority (EBA), other European Regulators (BaFIN, ACPR NBB etc) and Financial Stability Board (FSB). Development of gap analysis and implementation planning as applicable. Advise on all regulatory reward matters including remuneration design of fixed and variable plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Production and completion of policy related regulatory remuneration related submissions and management of sign off process - including Remuneration Policy Statement Questionnaire (RPSQ) and Pillar 3 disclosure
  • Policy: Responsibility for review and adaptation of remuneration policies (including remuneration policy, severance policy, performance adjustment policy and guarantee policy) and Terms of Reference of relevant bodies (RemCos UK, Paris, Supervisory Board, Behaviour and Conduct Review committee (BCRC), Performance Adjustment Forum (PAF) to ensure that they remain compliant with regulatory expectations as regulations change across the EMEA region.
  • Audit: Production of the annual gap analysis against regulations, and preparation of materials for HR audits in respect of Remuneration across the Region (as applicable)
  • Material Risk Takers: Responsible for identification framework for EMEA and ensuring the process is effectively administered working with other Reward team members.
  • Governance: Managing the drafting of reports for the various entities within the group and their Committees - especially Remuneration Committee.
  • Projects: Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and develop compensation projects within the region.

Profile

An Interim HR - Regulation, Governance and Policy Reward Manager - Vice President with:

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment including Guarantees, Material Risk Takers, Remuneration Code and Senior Manager Regime.
  • Proved track record in managing and delivering on regulatory reward design projects.
  • High level of competence liaising with senior stakeholders and understanding commercial considerations of reward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both up and across a hierarchy.
  • Highly numerical and analytical with a high attention to detail.
  • Able to explain complex financial data and communicate it in an easy way to understand.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Relevant reward experience as a Compensation Manager.
  • Degree preferred, CIPD.

Job Offer

Competitive day rate (PAYE and Inside IR35) depending on skills/experience.
