Your new role
You'll be working with a fanatic team providing support to people and managers across the business. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering the people plan and promoting confidence in the people and development team. The role is predominantly the first point of contact for all employees and leaders to ensure we are working in a good way and are a great place to work, with focus on people and talent. You'll be working closely with the People Development Business Partners to development support officers and ensure the day to day runs smoothly and key objectives are met.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Manage day to day recruitment activity, according to our plan and budget. Allocate work to the people and development support officer to meet our recruitment timelines. Provide support to recruiting managers and applicants to ensure a smooth process and ensure that the right person is recruited for the right job.
- Produce monthly and quarterly data to our people and people development business partners, to support our reporting to SLT/ELT and the board as well as supporting our leaders and identifying areas for improvement. Identify early trends, patterns and associated risk and escalate as appropriate.
- Lead on organising and implementing programmes of learning that support the sharing of internal knowledge and expertise, with input from key stakeholders.
- Design, deliver and facilitate workshop materials as required and agreed with the people development business partners
- Research and source external training providers using the managed learning frame-work, assisting with the procurement of training providers where required
