A global financial services firm based in the city of London seeks an Interim HR Workforce Administration Service Expert - AVP to be responsible for the design and delivery of one, or more of HRs services for all Group entities in a country, or across the EMEA Region

Description

An Interim HR Workforce Administration Service Expert - AVP with the following responsibilities for a number of services across entities and locations in the Region:

Service Subject Matter Expert

  • Subject Matter Expert in the policy, processes, systems and providers that support the services HR Services delivers
  • Delivers an expert consultancy service to the business, strategically partnering to build relationships and to understand their needs and proactively deliver solutions
  • Thought leader who connects with external and internal (across Regions) sources of good practice and proactively contributes to continuous improvement
  • Applies excellent judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for HR's customers, cost and risk
  • Partner with the business (employees and managers) to drive adoption and compliance with the service procedures
  • Contribute to "forward scanning" of the business, regulatory and legislative environment and proactively respond to legislation and regulation to ensure the service is compliant and take advantage of the opportunities it provides
  • Carrying out processes, procedure and tractions as per manuals, training and systems work-flow
  • Dealing with more complex request and transactions especially when they are non-standard, or exceptions to policy and process
  • Undertaking appropriate controls to ensure the quality and accuracy of the transaction - quality assure HR administrators work
  • Responding accurately and in a timely manner to employee and managers requests and queries via phone, email, instant message, or face to face interactions - Deal with more complex queries - non-standard, or exceptions to policy and process
  • Produce regular key performance indicators and key risk indicators for the service
  • Actively managing service vendors - day to day contact, directing them on priorities and reviewing their deliverables, provide feedback to vendor manager and attending service review meetings with the vendor
  • Being a strong and reliable team member who supports others achieve the Departments goals and objectives * Ensure data accuracy and integrity

Services:

Workforce Administration - Joiners, movers, leavers; employee screening; organisation and position management; HR administration

Payroll - Perform tasks to accurately and timely payment of employees salary, bonus and allowances as well as withholding and paying social security and tax

Employee Benefits and Well-being

  • Perform benefit administration tasks and projects
  • Support the implementation of new benefits and selecting providers in all locations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the well-being framework and initiatives

Pensions - Support the management of the Defined Benefit and GFRP schemes and management of the Trustees and Trustees meetings

Compensation Management -Management of the process across the EMEA Region whereby managers rate their team members (PPR) and allocate salary and bonus budgets amongst their team

HR Analytics and Reporting - Headcount reports, Risk reports, Regulatory reports for JSFA

International Mobility - Policy, Expat joiner, movers and leavers, Expat tax, Expat payroll

Employee Experience

  • Contribute to the positive employee experience of HRs services, processes and systems throughout the Region
  • Enact employee experience principles and standards and their metrics through the service they deliver
  • Encourage adoption of the employee experience principles and standards as new services are implemented or changed

HR third party supplier management - Measure the performance of providers ensuring that they deliver services on time, on budget and to the right quality levels and that they comply with the Groups third party risk management framework.

Policy development - Support the regular review and upgrading of HR policy and procedures to ensure that they are efficient and in line with the ever-changing landscape of the Group and the external market

Project Management - Manage cross entity or location projects that change and improve these services and systems including regulatory projects and strategic business projects that require changes to be made/new services and functionality

People management

  • Communicate to the team HR Services, HR and the wider business strategy and objectives
  • Set business and personal development priorities

Profile

An Interim HR Workforce Administration Service Expert - AVP with:

  • Deep experience and knowledge in delivering the services listed above
  • Considerable experience with the systems used to deliver the service
  • Strong customer services focus
  • Good project manager with a track record of delivering projects on time, to budget and the right quality levels
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong interpersonal empathetic and listening skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence peers and managers
  • Is able to be versatile and adaptable as the situation dictates to deal positively with ambiguity
  • Good eye for and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and analytical in approach to business challenges
  • Ability to think creatively and be innovative in solutions that are delivered
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Ability to build relationships and influence people
  • Experience in working with people from different countries and cultures
  • Numerate, logical, organised, flexible and creative approach to problem solving
  • Natural intellectual curiosity and a good understanding of our business
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional qualifications is desirable
  • High level of IT literacy in particular Excel
  • While committing to the team objectives, demonstrate personal accountability for delivery of personal actions
  • Demonstrable ambition and clear desire to contribute to both personal and Bank's growth & development
  • Acts with highest standards of integrity and fairness to colleagues and clients
