A global Financial Services organisation based in the City of London seeks an Interim SuccessFactors Recruitment and Onboarding SME- VP to be responsible for the support, design and delivery of technology solutions for one, or more of HR's services, for all Group entities in a country, or across the EMEA Region. HR's services include Recruitment, Talent, L&D, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, International Mobility, Workforce Administration and ER.

Description

An Interim SuccessFactors Recruitment and Onboarding SME- VP will have the following responsibilities for several services across entities and locations in the Region:


Service Subject Matter Expert

  • Subject Matter Expert in the HR technology and providers that support the HR service in question
  • Actively participates in the HR system release and upgrade cycle - reads release notes and produces an impact assessment, conducts user acceptance testing and go live and post go live support for the hyper care period
  • Plays a role in the HR system support model in investigating queries and issues from a functional perspective before escalating to technical support teams
  • Responds accurately and in a timely manner to employee and manager's technology queries via phone, email, instant message, or face to face interactions escalated by HR colleagues according to the support model - Deals with more complex queries - non-standard, or exceptions to process
  • Actively manages technology vendors - day to day contact, directing them on priorities and reviewing their deliverables, provides feedback to the vendor manager and attends service review meetings with the vendor
  • Deliver an expert consultancy service to the HR and the business, strategically partnering to build relationships and to understand their needs and proactively deliver solutions
  • Is an active member of the Service Design Authority and supports the governance of HR systems
  • A thought leader who connects with external and internal (across Regions) sources of good practice and proactively contributes to continuous improvement
  • Applies excellent judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for HR's customers, cost and risk
  • Partners with the business (employees and managers) to drive adoption and compliance with the technology
  • Contributes to "forward scanning" of the business, regulatory and legislative environment and proactively respond to legislation and regulation to ensure the technology is compliant and take advantage of the opportunities it provides
  • Implements appropriate controls to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data and transactions that the technology supports
  • Produces regular key performance indicators and key risk indicators for the technology supporting the service
  • Is a strong and reliable team member who supports others to achieve the Department's goals and objectives
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity
  • Employee Experience:
    • Contributes to the positive employee experience of HR's systems throughout the Region
    • Enacts employee experience principles and standards and their metrics through the technology they deliver
    • Encourages adoption of the employee experience principles and standards as new technology is implemented or changed
  • On a Regional basis, defines requirements, completes change requests and conducts testing of Recruitment and On-boarding including integrations.

HR third party supplier management

  • Measures the performance of providers ensuring that they deliver services on time, on budget and to the right quality levels and that they comply with the Group's third party risk management framework.

Project Management

  • Manages cross entity or location technology projects that change and improve these services and systems including regulatory projects and strategic business projects that require changes to be made/new technology services and functionality
    • Develops project charters, Provides project management updates - progress, risks, issues, Defines business requirements with the business SMEs, Conducts impact assessments, Produces project deliverables, Arranges and monitors end user testing with the business SMEs, Produces and executes cut over plans, Provides post go-live support for the hyper-care period

People Management

  • Communicates to the HR Services team, HR and the wider business strategy and objectives
  • Sets business and personal development priorities
  • Provides proactive and effective feedback on progress in meeting those priorities and provides appropriate support for personal development
  • Engenders a positive work culture

Profile

An Interim SuccessFactors Recruitment and Onboarding SME- VP with:

  • Deep experience and knowledge in delivering the services listed above
  • Considerable experience with the systems used to deliver the service
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Recruitment Management
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Onboarding (1.0 - useful, not essential)
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Role-based permissions
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Report Centre
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Integration Centre
  • Strong customer services focus
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong interpersonal empathetic and listening skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence peers and managers

  • Degree level education or equivalent professional qualifications is desirable
  • High level of IT literacy in particular Excel
  • Technical Writing - Experience of being a conduit between technical consultants and non - technical colleagues to translate requirements and solutions
