As a HR Business Partner, you will partner with the management team to deliver the organisational people strategy.

Description

Reporting into the HR Director, my client seeks a proven operator who can build solid relationships quickly, has experience of driving a 'performance vs continuous improvement vs wellbeing' culture, has experience of flexing from the transactional, to the operational, to the strategic.

As a HR Business Partner you will have responsibility for operational and strategic related people activities for c.500 people. You will work closely with the management and leadership team on day-to-day / BAU activities as well as implementing the people strategy with a variety of value-add projects.

Whilst working alongside another HR Business Partner, your key focuses for your first 12 months are as follows;


  • Policies and processes - development and implementation
  • Restructures - target operating model review and change programmes
  • Talent Management & Development - developing manager capability, implementing performance management and career pathways
  • Engagement & Culture - developing and enhancing Vision & Values, and developing and implementing key D&I initiatives
  • Talent Acquisition - predominantly focused in the operations, commercial and contact centre areas, and developing an Employer Value Proposition
  • Total Reward - review and overhaul of the benefits, pay structures (job evaluation and grading) and performance related pay
  • HRIS Implementation - support the HRIS implementation as part of the business ERP implementation change programme

  • Your responsibility will cover the distribution and commercial functions, based in the Ashton-under-Lyne area.

    Profile

    To be considered for this HR Business Partner appointment you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner / senior HR Generalist / senior HR Advisor, within an autonomous project driven role, ideally within Distribution, Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG industries. Strong ER and project implementation experience is a must. You will have proven experience and a strong toolkit in the following;

    • Organisational Design
    • Recruitment
    • Talent & Performance Management
    • Culture & Engagement

    You will be adept at working on operational / day to day HR activities as well as more strategically. You will demonstrable resilience and experience of working with leadership teams to implement and drive change.

    Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus the business, you will be a natural business advisor to the management and leadership team. As an HR Business Partner, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.

    Job Offer

    This role will pay £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, and a suite of benefits.
