Talent Acquisition Specialist

Your new company
This large well known public sector company who are based in central Birmingham have a busy and large HR team and are looking to bring on board a new Talent Acquisition Specialist on a permanent basis to expand their current team. The role will be working on site 3 days a week in Birmingham with some travel to a couple of their other sites on occasion and then 2 days a week working from home.

Your new role
Within this role you will be working closely with hiring managers at all levels to plan, facilitate and evaluate end-to-end recruitment processes that deliver a seamless, positive candidate experience. You will be proactive with direct sourcing of active and passive candidates through various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Pools, CV Databases, Referrals, and Networking etc. Conducting first stage pre-screening of candidates, shortlisting candidates for submission against a vacancy where appropriate. Working with hiring managers to design innovative assessment processes that provide candidates with the best possible opportunity to showcase the skills and behaviours required of the role. Ensuring clear and effective communication with both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, to ensure clear expectations are set and they receive an excellent experience throughout the sourcing process. Working with the Resourcing Manager to plan and design high volume recruitment drives across business functions, including assessment centre design and delivery; ensuring that the organisation is put forward as an attractive employer to all potential candidates.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to have prior experience in all the areas above an be looking for a permanent role based in central Birmingham. You must be open to some travel to other sites in Birmingham and be happy working in a fast paced and busy environment. You will need in house recruitment experience previously ideally for a substantial amount of time before applying for this role.
