This is a permanent position for a HR Manager to join a prestigious organisation based in Farnborough.

Description

This is a permanent position for a HR Manager which will involve the following tasks:

  • To develop HR strategy that aligns with the overall development plan / strategy
  • To provide effective HR advice and guidance to the Head, Bursar and other members of the Senior Leadership Team, advising on best practice in line with relevant employment law and legislation
  • To ensure employment contracts for all categories of staff comply with current legislation and reflect best practice.
  • To provide advice on all Employee Relations matters including restructuring, capability, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • To assist with compiling job descriptions and person specifications and to ensure a consistent approach
  • To lead on safer recruitment ensuring an up-to-date recruitment and selection policy is in place and that all recruiting managers are suitably trained
  • To administer staff recruitment including advertising vacancies and organising shortlisting and interview/assessment days.

Profile

The successful candidate for the HR Manager position will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar level position
  • Be working towards a CIPD qualification
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations
  • Strong IT skills
