Great Hitchin based FMCG organisation where you will be providing professional HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees on a full range of HR employee relations activities. Responsible for end to end recruitment process, managing on boarding and off boarding and provide general HR support, assisting with HR queries.

Description
Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance in a timely, efficient, and professional manner in line with current legislation, good practice, organisational policies and procedures
Work alongside other colleagues on performance management, employee relations, training and development, and policy development to ensure that education and training organisation not only recruits the highest quality but retains their expertise and supports their career progression.
HR Advisor Key responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance on the correct procedures for HR issues, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and good practice in the following areas:
- employee relations, (to include grievances, disciplinaries),
- performance management / capability / health / appraisals
- staff conduct
- absence and health issues
- maternity / paternity / adoption / shared parental leave / flexible working
- organisational change (restructuring & redundancies)
- safer recruitment
Profile
HR Advisor experience and characteristics;
- Proven current experience as a HR generalist, including managing a range of HR and employee relations matters successfully
- Familiar with and has used computerised personnel databases/systems
- Has provided advice and support to managers on a wide range of people related issues
- Friendly, approachable manner and able to work as part of a team
- Discreet, tactful, diplomatic and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Resourceful, proactive, self-motivated and resilient
- Diligent and conscientious
- Ability to work with people at all levels maintaining a high degree of professionalism at all times
- Calm under pressure
- Must Drive
