Recruitment Business Partner | Manchester | 12 month FTC | Salary up to £50,000 DOE | Office based 1 day p/w

Leading provider within the public sector seeking a Recruitment Business Partner to join their dynamic, friendly and fast-moving organisation, on a 12-month fixed term contract. Your New Role

Within your new role, you will provide comprehensive expertise and support across all aspects of recruitment. Making positive changes to increase engagement, you will engage with the senior leaders, understand the organisations need for recruitment, put in place creative marketing techniques/campaigns and overall, make a genuine impact on an organisation that both welcomes and craves specialist knowledge.

You will work closely with around 10 senior managers, creating strong working relationships, understanding their disciplines and what they need, to reach the highest levels of success. You will be a confident, skilled professional that is able to engage at senior management level, pushing and challenging others around you.

As a key member of the team and main point of contact for all recruitment matters, you will evaluate all recruitment processes, providing advice and guidance to the HR team in some of the following areas;

  • Be responsible for building and managing strong relationships internally and through external sources (including agencies as appropriate) to optimise the organisations ability to attract and recruit the best candidates possible and to negotiate the most favourable rates.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support, as the main point of contact in the organisation, for creative recruitment campaigns, supporting recruiting managers and administrators on all aspects of their campaigns, including job design/job analysis/job descriptions and advertisements including videos and social media.
  • Ensure that the organisations equality, diversity and inclusion ambitions and policies are embedded throughout recruitment and selection and work closely with the ED&I Lead and recruitment champions on this.
  • In addition to being the first point of contact for recruitment and selection, you will also provide general HR advice and guidance on policies and HR process, recognising when to escalate issues to other members of the HR team.
  • As part of the HR team, take on ad hoc projects or provide wider support across the team to meet organisational priorities.
  • Monitor job advertising data and feedback to recruiting manager and / or organisation if changes to recruitment approaches are required.
  • Keep up to date on latest best practice in recruitment through webinars and other CPD opportunities and identify and find solutions to further enhance the recruitment and selection process and applicant experience and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Lead on ensuring all training and guidance is up to date within the organisation, working closely with the learning team and run training sessions or discussion groups as appropriate.

  • What You'll Need

    • CIPD Level 3 Foundation (or equivalent recruitment experience)
    • Demonstrable track record of working at an Officer level in Recruitment as part of a busy HR team or within a professional business environment.
    • Experience/evidence of providing recruitment expertise/advice and guidance to hiring managers
    • Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and employees at all levels of the organisation
    • Experience of handling recruitment campaigns from job design through to job offer stage
    • Experience of working in a multi-site organisation
    • Up to date knowledge of the latest recruitment techniques/strategies and practices
    • Experience when acting on own initiative and exercising judgement when required
    • Up to date knowledge of employment law and current developments as it relates to recruitment
