HR Advisor

Were seeking an experienced HR Advisor to work as part of a busy HR team providing HR advice support in Dorset


As an HR Advisor you will be supporting managers and team leaders for a not for profit organisation in West Dorset. You will work in a flexible way working from Home / Office in Poole and potential sites in West Dorset when needed. You will be working with Managers on a variety of HR Advice including :

• Employee relations, sickness, grievance and disciplinary and advising on employee issues In particular dealing with sickness cases - need support with this Mainly supporting Managers
• Useful to have Trade Union experience - as they attend meetings and support employees; HRA needs to be aware of this and is comfortable working with them.
• Dealing with disciplinaries (eg safeguarding issues) / grievances (bullying/harassment)
• Build relationships with the Managers
• Able to solve employee problems Solutions focused

Candidates
We are seeking experienced HR Advisors who have a good experience of employment relations cases in particular sickness absence and disciplinary ideally with a unionised background experience
Level 5 CIPD is ideally suited

This role is offered on a fixed term basis for 6 months initially either employed or potentially via Hays and is hybrid working with office in Poole, sites in West Dorset and home working.
