HR Manager Operations, £50,000 + 10% bonus, permanent opportunity for growing FMCG in Spalding & Bedfordshire

Hays HR is proud to be working with a growing FMCG organisation with sites in Spalding and Bedfordshire who are seeking to appoint an HR Manager on a permanent basis to support the Operations team across 3 sites (2 in Spalding, 1 in Bedfordshire).
Your new role
This is a newly created role, and as the HR Manager you will be reporting into the Head of HR based in Spalding. You will manage and support the HR Operations (weekly paid) function by driving the people strategy across the business.
You will be able to effectively influence and support the Operations management teams to adopt leadership and coaching styles in order to maximise the potential of our people.
You will manage all areas of employee relations and you will also have responsibility for the HR Advisors across the sites.
You will need to be in Bedfordshire one day a week with the rest of the week split across 2 sites in Spalding.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will have experience in a similar role having managed a highly capable HR team or function across a variety of tasks. You will have experience of an HR generalist role - covering recruitment, development, ER issues, engagement and reward and be at least CIPD L5 qualified, ideally L7.
You will ideally have a background in FMCG or other fast-paced industry with hourly-paid workers and be knowledgeable of the latest trends within the industry specifically agency labour and management of this.
Previous experience of working with major UK retailers with a well attuned understanding of their structures, requirements and expectations would be beneficial.
You will be possess strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships.
