HR Manager/ Senior Advisor - Boston - £35000 to £45000 pa, DOE and qualifications.

A world famous household brand - who's Core Values include Family Heritage, Expertise, Wholesomeness and Innovation. This is a large multi-site manufacturing company has been going through a period of growth and as such as restructured the HR team onsite. This is a new role of HR Manager.

Your new role
This is an excellent Generalist HR Manager role where you will use your operational and strategic/project HR knowledge to support a business/site of circa 200 staff. Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior HR and H&S Manager and with a dotted line to the Group HR Director (based elsewhere in the UK).

Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team as the main HR Representative you will be responsible for the people direction of the business, the operational support and employee lifecycle administration and processes (managing 1 member of staff - a HR Assistant who will assist with the administrative tasks). Aswell as providing a full HR support service you will further develop and empower Line Managers to make correct decisions and "manage" their departments and staff - through coaching / mentoring / supporting and training.

You will have responsibility for the attraction, recruitment and retention of staff for the site.

You will also be responsible for the HR reporting and systems such as Time & Attendance etc - aswell as audits for the site.

This role is site based. NB Due to the location and lack of public transport routes, your own transport/car is needed to get to this company.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch daily - (40 hours but some flexibility is considered)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to step into a HR Manager role and further their career - or an established HR Manager to join an exciting and growing organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
3+ years experience working as a Senior / HR Advisor or Manager level within a mixed blue/white collar - ideally manufacturing, FMCG, logistics type background Ideally CIPD Level 5 - or studying towards Level 5.
Excellent communication skills Good IT / Excel skills
