Learning & Development Coordinator


This is a new role to support the establishment of the Learning and Development function and will evolve over time, starting with Phase 1 and progressing to Phase 2. It is ideal for someone looking for career development, with the opportunity to shape the role within the growing function. Remuneration will reflect the ongoing development of this role.

  • Creating L&D admin processes, procedures and reporting, documenting these activities in an L&D procedure manual, ready for the recruitment of an administrator to take over the L&D admin.
  • Supporting the L&D Manager and Specialist with projects as required
    • Coordinating a range of projects and regular events, with the L&D Manager.
    • Producing and keeping updated project plans, arranging meetings and ensuring systems and processes are established.
  • Creating systems to record and produce regular reports on learning and development metrics, including spend, to agreed timescales.
  • Responsibility for monitoring and evaluating learning and organisation development activities, producing accurate and up-to-date data analysis.
  • Working in partnership with the L&D Manager and platform provider to further embed and promote learning platform uptake and usage across the organisation.



Essential Experience:

  • Managing and developing a Digital Learning Platform, Learning Management System or Human Resource Employee Self Service Portal.
  • Digital organisational learning curriculum coordination and administration.
  • Day to day functional and technical operational delivery of a Digital Learning Platform, Learning Management System or HR system.
  • Production of L&D Management Information/analytics, online learning and instructor-led learning schedules.
