Job Details

Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global company headquartered in London in their search for a Global HR Manager. This will be a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join its team. Working closely with the Group HR Director, the successful candidate will work to provide full and varied HR support across all levels of the business both in the UK and abroad.

The role is a broad ranging generalist one, however, it will have a strong slant towards the numerical and technical side (reward and benefits) and will be part of a small HR team covering all HR requirements for the Company. This role will provide hands-on HR support for employees and managers in the Head Office in London (approx. 35 employees) and will also support the operations (currently in Africa and India) at Group level.

Our client is well known and respected company with a big focus on CSR. They are a listed company and therefore must conform to strict regulations. This role will require some travel at various times of the year and therefore applicants must be comfortable with this.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

* Must have at least 3 years of experience at Manager level with line management experience.
* Full CIPD qualification or qualified by experience.
* An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use initiative and be adaptable in uncertain situations.
* The highest level of integrity, discretion and professionalism with the ability to exercise judgement at all times in ambiguous circumstances. Confidentiality is paramount for this role.
* The ability to influence and partner stakeholders at all levels of the business including the senior management team.
* Excellent Word and Excel skills. This role requires a highly numerate individual who is comfortable working with large data sets in multiple currencies.
* An excellent grasp of UK employment law is essential, with experience of working across multiple jurisdictions highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to challenge at all levels where appropriate.

If this sounds like an opportunity you would to be considered for please submit your cv and contact details.
