Your new company
This large public sector organisation based in central Birmingham are looking for a HR Officer to join the team for a minimum of 9 months, the role will then likely be made permanent afterwards. The role will be supporting the HR Advisors and working closely with the HR/L&D Assistants. It will be working closely in between the 2 levels to support all areas when needed.
Your new role
Within this role you will be mostly dealing with various HR projects and assisting with casework with the HR Advisors. This role will be for the next 9 months and will likely be made permanent afterwards due to workload and needs within the team. You will need to provide general administrative and specialist support for all major, Group-wide HR functions, to include contracts of employment (including internal transfers/ TUPE transfers/ other contractual changes); recruitment and selection including application of the in-house psychometric testing platform, absence management, flexible working, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, parental leave (maternity/ paternity/ adoption/ shared); and pay and benefits.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be highly experienced in HR to apply for this role, you will need to have worked in all areas of HR especially HR case work. You will need to be immediately available or finishing a role very soon as they are looking for someone to start this role ASAP.
