To manage the delivery of strategic people change projects which meet the requirements of the business and deliver value, ensuring suitable governance and documentation is in place to fully scope, plan and monitor project delivery

My client is a not-for-profit organisation based in Preston

Description

This role is accountable for managing the delivery of multiple people change projects, including ensuring that they are correctly specified, delivered on time, meet business and technical requirements and are within the agreed budget

  • Preparation of project delivery plans to include resource planning and dependency management
  • Ongoing management of governance documentation for all projects under management including risk and issue registers and actions logsComprehensive stakeholder management/communication plan and active management of stakeholdersCreate and maintain project design and management documentation in collaboration with the business, ensuring a signed acceptance of scope of works for all projectsCreate and maintain project and budget, forecasting and timeline tracking toolsManage budgets effectively and in accordance with financial and resource plans, driving costs down and value for money up, where appropriateCapture and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and DependenciesEnsure all planned projects meet prescribed quality stepsCo-ordinate and oversee the work of other team members and / or stakeholders, as required, to ensure successful project deliveryEnsure that colleagues understand their roles and accept their responsibilities in line with agreed governance processesEnsure that team members have the training, knowledge, skills, and support required to deliver projects and / or their responsibilities effectivelyMaintain a cost-conscious and efficient approach when undertaking all aspects of the role to manage resources effectively, optimise performance and contribute to the future success of the businessComply with appropriate legislation and policy in respect of confidentiality, information governance and security and GDPRChampion the embedding of a continuous improvement culture across the People teams

Profile

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Substantial experience of leading and supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle process and successful delivery of business-critical HR/People change projects
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and guide stakeholders in decision making
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of data analytics and producing data driven insights
  • Experience of delivering change activities across single/multiple sites, functions and/or highly matrixes organizations by working with senior managers to achieve organizational change
  • Experience of accurate and effective cost benefit analysis and managing budgets and resources efficiently
  • Experience in using Microsoft products including Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, Visio
