This is an exciting and challenging project orientated HR Business Partner role working with a well known West Midlands organisation. Over the next 12 months you will work in close partnership with the Managing Director, and alongside the operational HR team, to support on a number of key commercial HR projects.

 

Key project responsibilities will include

 

  • Advising the organisation on their Industrial Relations strategy in advance of complex union pay negotiations and changes to the operational model. Supporting the development and implementation of a new Performance Management scheme.Improving the recruitment process including the roll out of a new online job application portal.Supporting the operational HR team with a review all HR policies and procedures and helping to drive a focus on continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a varied operational and project background. With the union pay negotiations and restructure being key to the next 12 months it is essential that you have strong IR / TU experience and plenty of credibility to consult and advise in this area.

 

As part of a small HR function you can expect to have a part to play in developing and mentoring the team and it is essential that you enjoy having a hands on problem solving approach as much as advising and consulting.

 

This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and this is role where you will be an influential member of the change process.

 

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

 

This is a 12 month contract requiring a prompt start. West Midlands based you will be able to work regularly from home.
