Job Details
Oakleaf are working on a fantastic Junior HR Business Partner role to join our growing Insurance client initially on a 12 month basis. This is a truly generalist HR role working in partnership with the business as a subject matter expert and advisor on Employee Relations, HR projects and business as usual HR matters. You will have the support of a collaborative and values-driven team, as well as a broader positive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively cultivate strong working relationships with all levels from senior stakeholders to entry level employees.
- Lead on a variety of Employee Relations cases: disciplinaries, grievances, complaints, long term sick leave, performance improvement from the end to end process
- Support visa and immigration matters in conjunction with the appointed immigration specialist, including overseas secondments, liaising with the tax specialist as required
- Draft and issue complex employment offers for senior hires
- Partner with aligned business area to offer support across the full employee lifecycle
- Work on a variety of HR Projects to support the business
- Be visible to the business as a go to HR subject matter expert
Key Skills:
- HR Generalist experience of the full employee lifecyle
- Extensive knowledge of Employee Relations cases, including: grievances, disciplinaries, performance, and sickness
- CIPD qualified is preferable
- Ability to work in a changing and busy environment
- Confident, collaborative and engaging approach
