Your new role
As a result of maternity my client is currently recruiting a HR Support Team to lead and manage the small and effective group of colleagues. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the key purpose of this opportunity:

  • Provision of administrative support to the HR Business Partners
  • Provision of administrative support and general HR advice to employees and managers across the business
  • Ensure close working relations with management teams and employees to ensure and improve staff engagement, morale and retention.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
  • Provision of payroll support to the team

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage various projects and responsibilities as assigned in line with the HR strategy
  • Provide all team members with feedback and coaching to ensure individual competence to ensure high team performance
  • Providing general HR advice to employees.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to monitor and update HR policies in line with current legislation.
  • Support the HR Business Partners on all aspects of group HR processes
  • Lead and manage the support team to achieve all individual, team and business KPI's
  • Responsible for the maintenance and quality of all data in the HR systems
  • Own the employee life cycle administration process including payroll and all related documentation as required
  • Manage the absence administration process
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports or as required
  • Assist with HR projects
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ensure that all HR systems are kept up to date
  • Support with the production of HR documentation
  • Remain up to date on the business direction and operational goals, and ensure that support provided is in line with those objectives.
  • Implementation and simplification of processes to add value to our outputs


What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant must have a comprehensive and working knowledge of HR practices including payroll ideally and demonstrable people management experience.
