HR Manager

We are delighted to be exclusively supporting our Heathrow based client to recruit a UK HR Manager. Reporting into the MD for a UK division of this diverse Global business you will manage a team and be part of the Global HR team. You will partner and support the leadership and management teams working as the go-to person for all employee related issues. You will manage training, development and talent management, employee relations, performance management and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting employees on HR related matters, including HR policies and procedures, employee wellbeing and personal development.
Providing key data and HR leadership in areas such as performance management, absence management and employee relations.
Driving and delivering HR excellence by developing and implementing people plans in line with the HR strategy and local business unit needs.
Delivering the engagement strategy focussing on areas such as engagement surveys and internal communication.
Developing and embedding a high performance culture.
Be an ambassador for IPP in the UK and actively driving the Great Places to Work process. 

Requirements

• Full CIPD or equivalent qualification
• Commercial HR experience in a management role
• Experience of business partnering, preferably up to and including Managing Director level
• Professional knowledge of employment law and its practical application
• Confident and articulate with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Robust and down to earth with the ability to cooperate and collaborate
• Empathetic to the needs of the business
• Pragmatic and focused on continuous improvement
• Well organsied with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
• Experience of developing employee engagement action plans
• Multi-site experience is desirable - there are 10 sites across the UK and some travel will be required
