We are actively recruiting for a CIPD qualified HR Business Partner to join our client on a full-time permanent basis in London.
Reporting to the Divisional HR Lead, you will manage a HR advisor and support your business unit around the M25 and SE London
About the role
- Use comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently, aiding others in maintaining high performance, and applying a change mindset in planning, executing, and monitoring business activities during times of change.
- Ensures that people are developed both to meet their career goals and the organisation's goals, and consistently shares ideas, insight, and best practices to achieve optimal results.
- Advise managers on organisation policy and guidelines and recommend needed changes.
- Support key vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
- Manage the employment, compensation, and employee relations activities of team members.
- Provide information about company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, promotion opportunities, and employee benefits to current and potential employees.
- Develop recommendations for improving the HR policies and practices of the organisation, based on the analysis of statistical data and reports.
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning P&C data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
About you
- CIPD Level 5 min
- Experience of working in a fast paced, multi sited environment such as transport, logistics, manufacturing, distribution or any other unionised environment in the private sector.
- Trade union negotiations - essential
- Ability to manage high volume ER case load, including complex ER cases.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Experience in a similar role, supporting Employment Tribunal claim experience and have a passion for HR
- Highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills
- TUPE experience
