The Company

The Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) is the largest and best-attended regional producing theatre in the UK.

We’re now looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join our talented team on a permanent, full-time basis working 40 hours a week.

The Role

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will build and maintain an inclusive, constructive environment that enables and supports all team members to thrive and succeed in their professional journey.

As a champion of our values, you will provide considerate and nuanced guidance on all employment matters. Your expert advice will deliver positive outcomes for both the organisation and its valued employees.

Crucially, you will act as the custodian of our HR System ensuring that HR data is accurate. You will employ this information to support decision making, facilitate inclusivity and inform HR, recruitment and training activity.

Additionally, you will:

- Collaborate with the Recruitment & Training Advisor to ensure that processes are aligned
- Ensure managers of new team members are equipped and prepared to provide a quality onboarding process
- Develop training and development frameworks across teams

About You

To be considered as a Human Resources Advisor, you will need:

- Previous experience of working as an HR Advisor or HR Administrator
- Experience of designing and delivering training
- Experience of HR Management Systems with the ability to interpret HR data and construct reports
- Experience of Wellbeing at Work and supporting healthy workplace initiatives
- Experience of using HR Data to proactively inform management interventions and improvements
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and Employee Relations
- Current and extensive knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion legislation and best practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ideally, you will have a CIPD Qualification but we are equally interested in hearing from candidates with relevant experience.
