An adaptable HR Business Partner to join an established manufacturer in Poole (office / remote).

My client are a large manufacturing business and an employer of choice in the Dorset area, boasting a loyal customer base throughout the UK.

Your new role

Reporting to an experienced, supportive Lead HR BP, this role will be key in building on a strong and positive culture, which brings the business to life for all of it's colleagues, ensuring the company manufacture the highest quality of products for their customers around the world.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the HR Department is able to manage employee relations (ER) matters efficiently and effectively as and when they occur and importantly, proactively manage employee relationships so as to achieve a positive and productive workplace culture. The role holder will manage casework and projects relating to discipline, grievance, bullying and harassment, mediation, absence management, engagement, capability and organisational change. Supporting the Lead HR BP and Head of HR in the provision of HR services across a specific given area of the business by partnering with stakeholders and providing proactive support to line managers for all day-to-day operational issues.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum) with strong experience of ER case work and knowledge of employment law. The successful candidate will also be a competent user of Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint with knowledge of data analysis (reporting and interpretation) / good analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Having worked in manufacturing / engineering or retail / hospitality is preferred, but other industry backgrounds will be considered.
