I am really excited to be working with a well regarded institute that is growing at incredicle rate. They are looking for a Talent Acquitision Advisor to join their recruitment team. This is a new created role and this role will play a key part in their extensive growth plans. This role will be a critical external facing role which will help shape the growth of the institute. Exciting time for someone to be part of their growth and development!

This role will work closely with the people team. The People Team is a focused, fast paced and fun team which works closely with all parts of the Institute to create a talented, engaged and high performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the People Team, be an ambassador for the Institute in their recruitment processes
  • Working closely with the Director of People, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, define, develop and embed a hiring strategy for each new role allocated to the Talent Acquisition Advisor, driven by the needs of the relevant team or division and funding requirements
  • Develop and implement new and innovative methods of talent acquisition, measuring performance through key metrics and continuously improving standards
  • Undertake a clear, process driven briefing process with all Hiring Managers for each role
  • Undertake active search for candidates through LinkedIn or other relevant talent platforms
  • Work with our Recruitment Co-Ordinators to ensure that all new roles are correctly posted on their ATS and LinkedIn life page
  • Work with Hiring Managers to thoroughly and efficiently sift all applications made through our ATS
  • Being an ambassador for the Institute, undertake screening calls with initial short listed candidates
  • Present an articulate and thorough shortlist to Hiring Managers for each role, based upon all competences and ambition
  • Working with our Recruitment Co-Ordinators, support Hiring Managers through interview processes in order to help identify successful candidates
  • Engage with successful candidates to present and where necessary, negotiate, offers of employment and work closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure that successful candidates have a positive and engaging experience in their onboarding to the Institute

The Person

  • Around five to seven years' of inhouse or agency recruitment experience
  • Experience of recruitment in the consulting, government advisory or not-for-profit sectors would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • A proven ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex and fast-moving information to senior stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving attitude, and ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and numeracy skills
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, researching and editing skills. Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent diplomacy, discretion and ability to engage with individuals at all levels is essential
  • An innovative approach to talent acquisition, demonstrating the ability to consult effectively with key stakeholders to identify true needs
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems easily
  • Strong experience in use of an ATS and if possible, Tribepad
  • Flexible working style and ability to support Hiring Managers in numerous jurisdictions or learn quickly and with ambiguity
  • Experience of working with senior internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of UK employment law (desirable)
