A challenging role to support the development of the growth of this professional services firm and also add strategic support.

Client Details

The post-holder will have the responsibility for developing, shaping and driving the Firm's recruitment activity. The post-holder will report directly to the Firm's Finance Director and have day-to-day contact with the Heads of Departments across the Firm.


Utilising key workforce information and data, the post-holder will work with the Heads of Departments to understand current and future workforce requirements in order to support the development of and implementation of the Firm's recruitment strategy to meet the needs of the Firm's continued growth.

The post-holder will also develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates, from the point of first contact through to the end of the Firm's probation process. The post-holder will be responsible for providing a "best-in-class" induction process to ensure that candidates who are hired are smoothly integrated into the Firm and work with the Heads of Department to ensure the new employee's performance is closely monitored in the first six months of their employment.

This is a demanding, target driven role that will require someone with enthusiasm to identify, source, recruit and integrate the best talent available into the Firm.

Description

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and contributing regular research and robust awareness of the recruitment market within the region and competitors;

  • Mapping and understanding the current recruitment market across each of the business sectors;

  • Compiling and Rdeveloping a database of potential candidates that will meet the future recruitment needs of the Firm;

  • Collaborate with the Heads of Departments to create recruitment plans for each the Departments;

  • Manage, lead and drive the Firm's recruitment activity;

  • Manage, lead and drive the Firm's recruitment of new trainees to the Firm;

  • Provide hands on operational support across the: -


  • end to end recruitment and on boarding cycle - through all stages including approval, attraction, selection, offer and-employment checks;
  • firm's probationary period to ensure that new employees are supported

    • Direct approaches to potential candidates identified and who have not already been introduced through recruitment agents / head hunters.

    • Maintain key stakeholder relationships with: -


  • recruitment agents and manage the relationship between the Firm and those agents;
  • the University of Law and other academic institutions from which we may source candidates.

    • Managing the Firm's overhead and costs with recruitment agents and looking to drive value for money through this process;

    • Undertake screening processes of candidates in advance of interviews to narrow the candidates and ensure they meet the standards required by the Firm;

    • Attend events, job fairs and other activities to identify and source potential avenues for new recruitment.

    • Create recruitment plans, with the heads of department for each of the departments within the Firm

    • Play an active part in succession planning and talent mapping

    * Experienced of implementing a talent acquisition strategy aligned to challenging commercial goals and business objectives



    * Exposure to workforce planning within fast-paced, corporate environment



    * Knowledge of anti-discrimination and equal opportunities legislation



    * Knowledge and use of an systems to track and monitor applicants
