A Global Insurance firm based in the City of London seeks a HR Operations and Reward Analyst to be own a diverse range of activities and help the HR team with the organisation's journey. This includes taking a lead role in key aspects of the Salary and Bonus review, Gender Pay Gap calculations, supporting the employee benefits life-cycle, international mobility, reward analytics and liaising with third party providers including the payroll function.

Description

A HR Operations and Reward Analyst to take on the following key responsibilities:

Project-based Reward:

  • Support the design and implementation of the Salary and Bonus review process, taking a lead on spreadsheet design and data accuracy, working closely with HR Business Partners
  • Support the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Job Level and Reward frameworks
  • Ownership for Gender Pay Gap calculations and support on narrative and communications

Reward analysis and reporting:

  • Work closely with Finance on bonus accruals, business planning of headcount costs and other ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Support regulatory remuneration reporting (e.g. Solvency II)
  • Support for Remuneration Committee papers
  • Support controls and governance across the reward framework
  • Ad-hoc reward bench-marking/offer construction/off cycle increase recommendations and buy-out calculations to secure key hires
  • Other reward analysis and modelling as necessary

Performance Management

  • Support Head of Reward and HR Business Partners in embedding the performance management culture
  • Key contact for performance management system provider, driving quality service and user experience enhancements

Benefits

  • Support benefits processes and annual renewals, ensuring data requirements are captured
  • Assist with general employee queries and general benefits administration (pension, PMI, life assurance, flex-benefits)
  • Monitor and embed benefits administration processes with outsourced providers
  • Support in ensuring any changes in process as a result of new legislation are managed with payroll, comms, employee processes etc
  • Assist with research into new benefits and potential voluntary benefits
  • Support with marketing benefits to employees
  • Responsible for ownership and coordination of benefits data audits
  • Support on any future share offer administration

Payroll and tax reporting

  • General monthly payroll checks and support for the end to end process with outsourced providers
  • Ability to improve processes to minimise risk and increase efficiencies

Immigration & Mobility

  • Short term business visitor monitoring and tax reporting; ability to set up new monitoring processes
  • Assistance with relocation and international assignee coordination including identification and management of external vendors
  • Coordination with third party provider regarding immigration and monitoring to ensure work permit compliance

HR Operation & Governance

  • Ongoing monitoring of data compliance and adherence to GDPR requirements
  • Assistance with coordination of data and MI reporting
  • Support with data collation for the People Systems project
  • Actively participate in implementation workshops & testing for the new People System, helping to embed all processes and give a great employee experience
  • Assistance with streamlining of HR end to end processes including equal opportunities monitoring, data follow ups with employees and ensuring we have robust processes in place to mitigate risk exposure
  • Follow up with outsourced supplier on process issues and assist in monitoring SLAs and KPIs to ensure we receive value for money
  • Assist with other ad hoc items such as business continuity planning and monitoring

Profile

A HR Operations and Reward Analyst with:

  • Demonstrable experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Strong knowledge of Benefit renewal processes and administration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically data interrogation and analysis, compiling reports and in interpreting data and ability to provide narrative to third parties
  • 3rd Party broker relationship management
  • Delivery focused; ownership oriented with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • 1st point of contact for queries from the business whilst we build an interface
  • Payroll and mobility experience required including basic tax knowledge (desirable)
