Job Details

The remit of this role will be lead and manage the people agenda for the UK group Finance population. This person will be a professional HR role of trusted advisor, that understands the business and its priorities and builds strong relationships that provide both support and challenge.

The HR team provide a client focused and exceptional HR service to our internal clients, which is aligned to our people strategy and the firms strategic goals. The HR Business Advisory Team is going through an exciting period of change where they will shortly embark on the journey of redesigning many of the core HR processes, as well as introducing a new case management system to enhance the experience of our internal clients.

You will:

  • Be someone who builds strong business relationships with the internal clients and works closely with management team members to deliver against a business aligned people plan.
  • You will lead the Talent management agenda for the area- meeting business goals through the attraction, identification, development, engagement, retention and deployment of individuals.
  • Provide coaching to line managers to encourage effective communication & objective problem resolutions.
  • Manage complex employee relations casework, drives resolution in line with legislation and internal policies.
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, taking a lead role where appropriate, to help align the workforce to the strategic goals of the Firm.

About you:

  • Have proven work experience in Human Resources Management across all core areas of HR - recruitment, reward, performance management, learning & development, talent management.
  • Have good working knowledge of UK employment law, procedures and processes and proven experience in managing complex cases through to conclusion, balancing the needs of the business and the individual.
  • Have demonstrable success in developing and supporting line managers through change.
  • Have Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.

This business offer agile working, expect to be in the office about 50% of the time, and wfh about 50%. THey are also open to a discussion about a 4 day week.
