Health & Wellbeing Specialist -12 months contract
Location: North Wales, with an easy commute from Liverpool, Greater Manchester and Cheshire
Salary: £27,500 -£30,000

This outstanding education institution, located in North Wales, has recently gone through an exciting transformation of the HR department.

As such this has presented the very exciting opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing Specialist to join the HR team and support the whole of the organisation in developing and implementing a Health and Wellbeing Strategy for all employees across the college.

Very much a value adding role, as Health & Wellbeing Specialist you will work with HR and the L&D teams to assist in the development of and to review policies, procedures and practices which promote colleague wellbeing in addition to working with key student support stakeholders to create a holistic approach to wellbeing and driving an inclusive, trauma informed and relational culture for both colleagues and students.

The Heath & Wellbeing Specialist is a brand new role, fully funded by the Welsh Government and although offered on a 12 months contract, has every potential to turn permanent upon completion.

Skills & Experience Required;

Experience of working as part of a wider HR team
Experience of delivering and leading on an organisation wide Health & Wellbeing strategy
Ability to evaluate current performance and suggest improvements and action plans
Strong reporting skills
Ability to effectively communicate across departments
Education experience is not essential for this role.
